Defending champions Suva are keeping a resolute mentality and are committed to improving their backline when they take on Nadroga in the 2024 Skipper Cup Grand Final in Nausori tomorrow.
Head coach Solomon Newt said he made only minor changes to the squad as it was important to maintain consistency following the semi-final win over Nadi.
“We will be playing with the same group of players who are ready physically and mentally and we are ready to face Nadroga.”
He admitted that there were some issues during the match against Nadi but assured that improvements were being made.
“We made some mistakes against Nadi but we are working hard to correct them. Our defence is not in great shape but we will give our all in the final,” he explained.
The final is expected to start at 3 p.m.
