To celebrate its 140th anniversary, Magasin Général (Mg) is launching a social program to support primary schools in the country. Education is often considered the first pillar of social equality, allowing everyone to build their own future. However, many schools face huge financial challenges and struggle to provide quality education, which can lead to academic delays or even dropouts.

With this in mind, Magasin Général, in partnership with the Yenduba Regional Education Delegation, is committed to supporting education and creating new opportunities for schoolchildren in the Fernena region through donations to primary schools

“Al Batah” and its students. This involvement in the community is at the heart of the company’s social policy.

Mg is responsible for the renovation of CHTAYTIYA Primary School. The dilapidated facilities will be transformed into a modern, inspiring environment designed to provide our children with an environment conducive to learning and development.

Mr. Fahd Chaouch, General Manager of MG, stressed: “This initiative is part of the celebration of our 140th anniversary of roots in Tunisia. Our presence across the country and close ties with the Tunisian people naturally make us a player in social responsibility. We believe that every child should have the opportunity for a better future through education, regardless of where they live. We are happy to contribute to the education of children and help them reach their full potential. »

This inspiring initiative led by MG is a powerful example of how businesses can play an important role in transforming disadvantaged communities. MG fully embraces its social role and 140-year commitment to the country; we hope this initiative will serve as a model for other companies looking to make a positive impact on society.
