Tegucigalpa —Former Member of Congress Miguel Navarro He threatened Professor Joaquín Fúnez, director of the Isis Xiomara Castro school in Patuca, to leave his position and the city government.

An audio call released by the TN5 Estelar news program showed the former coordinator of the National Reduction Program (PNRP) accusing the school principal in a strong tone of betraying him and the Freedom and Reconstruction Party (Liberty).

“Today I realized that you are our Patuka’s enemy and it is a shame how we ended up,” Navarro berated the teacher.

Navarro went on to say that he does not condone betrayal, disloyalty and ingratitude, accusing the teacher of committing those acts.

He accused the teacher of politicising the education centre and turning it into a “very dirty place”.

“I’m going to give you some advice, if you are smart, just get out of there, those attitudes of yours do not belong to Patuka, a person is a friend, I support you, I did not expect your attitude, you are a person who is against us,” he asserted.

The former congressman said several people have made comments to him complaining about the attitude and behavior of the principal of the Isis Xiomara Castro School.

Professor Joaquin Funes asked Navarro how they would work together if he was deceived by gossip from a third party.

Navarro, however, rebuked the teacher for being politicized at the school and ensured he was appointed to the position based on his abilities.

Navarro said to him in a tough tone: “You were appointed as a director because of your ability. This is a lie. I appointed you.”

The former PNRP coordinator reiterated that if the teacher was a smart person, he should give up the position of director of the education center.

Navarro insulted the teacher for asking parents to buy school uniforms for their children, saying, “We took him to do charity work, and you asked them for school uniforms.”

“That’s what I lacked, I brought people and joined others who have been messing around, but your problem is serious because you are disloyal and traitors, I have to defeat them,” he said.

Navarro accused the teacher of having problems with parents, school teachers and leaders of liberal organizations.

“You don’t realise that you have problems with everybody and they blame me because I’m the one who recommended you and you don’t realise that,” he claimed.

Teacher Funes responded to Navarro that if he had another person replace him as school principal, he should fire him, to which the former Liberal MP responded that he should react and reconsider.

Joaquín Fúnez confirmed that he was doing his job and asked him again how they would work.

It is worth noting that last May, the Court of Appeal issued Temporary layoffs Miguel Navarro is accused of the murder of Rafael Leonardo Lagos, and the Public Ministry filed an appeal for protection against him because it disagreed with the resolution.
