The services of the Public Health Service (BOG) have been fully restored. The association has launched a campaign to adjust the transport and clothing allowances. The Ministry of Health announced that, following the intervention of the judge, it was decided that the two sides would re-enter the dialogue.

Further negotiations will take place in the coming period to finalize the details of the allowance adjustments. The Department of Public Health and the BOG are committed to working constructively with the Association to achieve a sustainable and satisfactory solution.

The Ministry of Health thanks all participants for their patience and understanding during the strike and stresses the importance of providing a stable and continuous supply of healthcare to the community. We remain committed to providing high-quality healthcare and improving public health in Suriname.
