Turku’s environmental health services are investigating the source of the illness.
Go down Five cases of salmonella have been detected in hospitals. This was reported in a press release by the Varsinais-Suomen Welfare Region. These cases were found to be from the same salmonella group.
The first cases were detected at Kaskenlinna and Mäntymäki hospitals last Wednesday. The remaining three cases were detected among patients at Kaskenlinna Hospital.
