The mayor’s office asked drivers to plan alternate routes or take public transportation
Parts of two central streets in Bishkek will be closed today for repairs. This was reported in the capital’s mayor’s office.
Baytik Baatyr Street will be closed from Aaly Tokombaev to Suerkulov. Isa Akhunbaev Street will be closed from Manas Boulevard to Toktonaliev.
“Major repair work on Baytik Baatyra will be carried out in stages, from Tokombaev to Zhibek Zholu, Akhunbaev – from Manas Avenue to Zhukeyev-Pudovkina,” the city government explained.
City officials are asking drivers to plan alternate routes and use public transportation instead of personal transportation when possible.
