Alex Jones is now trying to transfer money into his father’s supplement business

A Texas bankruptcy court judge on Friday brought Infowars back from the brink of death in a surprising ruling that left conspiracy masterminds Alex Jones Trying to use those funds to – naturally – make more money. This time, Jones is promoting a supplement company owned by his father.

Last week, Judge Christopher M. Lopez issued a split ruling saying Jones could carry out the plan his lawyers requested and liquidate most of his assets to pay nearly $1.5 billion in judgments he owes to families of children and workers killed at Sandy Hook, after he repeatedly called the mass shooting a “hoax.”

As bankruptcy proceedings dragged on, Jones put his talents to good use, urging viewers to send money to an entity that did not directly belong to him so that it would not be liable to Sandy Hook families and other creditors.

In recent weeks, Jones has been on television promoting a new supplement website, Dr. Jones Naturals. He said the site is owned by his father, dentist David Jones. Alex Jones has been urging people to go there in addition to spending money at Infowars’ in-house store. “My dad is a sponsor and he has a warehouse that’s not under their control that’s full of products ready to ship to you,” Jones said on television last week. A representative from Free Speech Systems also testified in court that Infowars stopped ordering supplements for its in-house store weeks ago and expected it to shut down soon.
