For the first time in the history of the UAE… 100,000 citizens in the private sector

Sister His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai of the United Arab Emirates, announced that for the first time in the country’s history, the number of citizens working in the private sector has reached more than 100,000 citizens, with the goal of adding 100,000 new jobs for citizens in the next three years, God willing.

He wrote on his official account that he is in the economic growth of our country after my brother, the President of the country, launched the Nafes program, provided generous support of 24 billion dirhams, and introduced many legislations to support and stimulate the nationalization of the private sector and accelerate nationalization.

“At the Council of Ministers, we adopted a new policy to give priority to people with three years of private sector experience in government employment,” he said. He stressed that our private and public sectors are in harmony… Citizen and non-citizen laborers enjoy hundreds of thousands of opportunities provided by our national economy… Our goal is to create 100,000 new jobs for Filipinos, God willing, to become citizens in the next three years.
