By the end of 2024, passenger traffic at Turkish airports is expected to reach 236.5 million.
The forecast was reportedly released by the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure’s Directorate General of Airports (DHMI). Vesti.az.
According to DHMı estimates, air passenger traffic this year is expected to grow by 10.4% compared to 2022, when 214.2 million passengers were carried. By 2025, this number is expected to be close to 250 million.
“Passenger traffic will grow in 2024 due to increased interest in domestic flights. If domestic flights were booked at 122.95 million in 2023, they are expected to grow by 9.1% this year to 134.2 million.”
