Al-Sumaria News tracked flight data from Iraqi airports based on professional aviation websites, and it is clear that Baghdad Airport has set a record for the highest number of flights since last Friday to Monday.

While the average daily number of flights at Baghdad Airport in the past few days was more than 60 flights, there were 76 flights last Friday, 77 flights on Saturday, 79 flights on Sunday, and 79 scheduled flights today, Monday, which means that the number of flights increased by more than 20% during Eid al-Fitr.

The increase in the number of flights at Baghdad Airport broke the record for the number of flights. The highest number of flights recorded at Baghdad Airport this year dates back to March 15, when there were 75 flights.

As for Najaf Airport, the record for the number of flights this year has also been broken. Najaf Airport had 27 flights today, Monday, 29 flights on Sunday, 29 flights on Saturday, 27 flights last Friday, and 25 flights last Thursday. On Wednesday, the number of flights at Najaf Airport also broke the highest record since the beginning of the year, an increase of 60% over the previous average of 18 flights per day.

The number of flights at Erbil Airport also increased, but slightly, from 35 flights per day before Eid to an average of 40 flights. The number of flights at Basra Airport did not change much.
