Germany and Serbia have reached the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup finals in what will be a highly anticipated clash between two of the tournament’s most exciting teams.

The two teams also met twice in the European Basketball Championship, with Serbia winning both times: in 2015 in Germany, 68-66, and in 2011 in Lithuania, 75-64.
Among the players who participated in the Serbian team at the 2015 European Basketball Championship, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Nikola Milutinov, Maudo Rowe, Nils Giffey, Dennis Schröder and Johannes Vogtmann are still active on the court.
