“The bus driver was wearing a T-shirt, sweatshirt, shorts and flip flops as if he was going to the beach” – MP

AKIPRESS website – Bishkek city councilor Katsybek Ergshov expressed dissatisfaction with the appearance of municipal bus drivers.
Earlier, he asked Ulanbek Beshenbayev, director of the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development, whether there were dress requirements for municipal public transport drivers and received a positive response.
“They don’t follow the dress code. Especially the bus drivers. They come to work in T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, flip flops, like they’re going to the beach. What is this? It’s so untidy,” said Ergeshov.
He explained that when guests come to Bishkek, the first impression is made by the bus driver. He asked the head of the department to pay attention to the issue, and Beshenbayev promised to monitor the matter.
