16-year-old boy stabbed in Oslo

Police and an ambulance went to the seaside at Oslo Central Station just before midnight on Saturday following reports of a stabbing.

A 16-year-old boy was reportedly in a serious condition.

– We went out with a large patrol and found a person who was seriously injured. He was taken care of by medical facilities and taken to hospital, Eirik Sannes, operations manager for the Oslo Police District, told NRK.

Shortly afterwards, police arrested four people not far from the crime scene.

– Based on the clues the police had, we chose to arrest one of them, and arrest and three others. Those were boys between 14 and 16 years old, Sannes said.

The arrested person is 16 years old.

All those involved are minors and are known to the police for various reasons, NTB wrote.
