The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology announced that Monday, June 17 will not be a day off for teachers.
The ministry stressed that June 16 (Sunday) is Eid al-Adha, and although this day is a national holiday, it does not mean that teachers will be free the next day.
This year, Sunday, June 16, marks Eid al-Fitr, an important festival for the Muslim community.
The Ministry would like to make it clear that the day after Eid al-Adha, Monday, June 17, is a normal working day for all teachers. Schools will be open as normal and education will continue as planned.
The Ministry of Education calls on all teachers to fulfill their responsibilities on this day and prepare for the planned lessons and activities.
