Registration for the Grace Hopper Technology Award ends on May 24

TBC presents the Grace Hopper Award to recognize successful women in technology and showcase programs and organizations that empower women in communications technology. Registration ends on May 24th on the website Can you.

The award is divided into 5 categories:

technology leader The award is presented to a woman who holds a decision-making position in the technology industry, has achieved outstanding results, and has made a positive impact on society through her work.

category A new generation of discoveries The award will be given to a girl between the ages of 16 and 26 who has demonstrated impressive academic achievements and career aspirations in STEM fields from an early age and who has the potential to become a leader in the field at home and abroad.

an outstanding scientist This title is awarded to a female scientist who has made significant contributions in the fields of STEM science (engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology).

category Innovative technology products The award is given to an innovative product whose creator is a woman and which addresses a business or social need through a specific technological solution. The winner in this category can be a technology startup or an individual technology solution, product or service developed by an in-house team.

Finally, in the category A leading company dedicated to women’s empowerment An outstanding technology company that is committed to equality, diversity and the advancement of women in technology leadership positions will be recognized.

One of the first female programmers in the United States, the Grace Hopper Award is a technology award that recognizes and encourages women working in the field.

The winning company will receive 10,000 GEL in the form of a grant, which will be used for pre-agreed activities and programs to help encourage diversity and inclusion within and outside the organization.
