A multidisciplinary team of the Chilean investigative police, led by the Investigative Brigade against Organized Crime (Bricco) and coordinated by the Office of the Attorney General of the North-Central Metropolitan Region, has arrested three foreign nationals involved in two violent killings. This happened last week, with their bodies being dumped in the communes of María Pinto and San Pedro in the metropolitan area.
In this way, Officer Brico, in cooperation with detectives from the Metropolitan Homicide Squad, was able to locate and detain two Venezuelan citizens with irregular immigration status who were involved in the case last weekend, and arrested a third person on Wednesday. Pablo Sabay, prosecutor of the North-Central Prosecutor’s Office, referred to the investigation of the homicide and the arrest of the accused. “In the past week, on Thursday and Saturday, two bodies were found. One in the María Pinto area and the other in the Quebrada de Alhué area, towards Melipilla.”
“According to the investigations conducted by the Central North Prosecutor’s Office and the Investigation Team against Organized Crime, it was possible to identify a group of people who committed these acts and killed these people. As a result, three people were arrested, formalizing the number of people charged with homicide and qualified homicide.Besides other crimes like receiving vehicles, petty trafficking, etc.,” the pursuer explained.
Both arrests were made in San Diego.one of the offenders was found with drugs (cannabis and ketamine), as well as the keys to the car involved in the crime under investigation.
