As has recently happened, the last quarter of the year will see the concentration of several of the most important beauty pageants on the planet, including Miss Venezuela.

This Wednesday it was announced that the national elections will be held on December 5, repeating the stage and the venue: the Espacio Auditorium in the Líder shopping center; and Maite Delgado, taking it almost for granted that the iconic blonde will once again be accompanied by José Andrés Padrón.

With the release of information such as the official schedule of candidates on September 14, the topic of the contest has reappeared on the entertainment agenda, as it was frozen due to political events.

Despite the fact that several dedicated accounts have published the names of the selected young women on social networks, the Miss Venezuela organization has still not made an official statement on the results of the alleged EPI test.

Such a statement should dispel another doubt: which competition will the winner participate in? Since its presentation to the society on August 9, 2018, the Executive Committee has expressed its desire to hold two elections per year to fulfill its commitment with Miss Universe and Miss World.

In fact, that year, the champion, Isabella Rodriguez, competed in the London event. However, six years later, Nina Cecilia and Gabriella Isler have failed to realize their dreams.

The question is raised because at the beginning of 2024, after many rumors, Eisler announced the renewal of the Miss World franchise. So far, no girl has been assigned to this competition, which should be held in the first months of 2025, as long as Mrs. Julia Morley does not decide to prolong the reign of Czech Krystynà Pyszkovà, as did Polish contestant Karolina Bielauska.

In addition to this, the representation of Miss Universe and Miss International will also be vacant on the day of the national elections, as Ileana Márquez will defend the national colors in Mexico City on November 16; Sakra Guerrero will do the same in Tokyo on the 12th of the same month.

The group of travelers who will seek new titles for Venezuela at the end of the year also includes Sergio Gómez in Mr. Global, Ana Blanco in Miss Grande and Emmanuel Serrano in Mr. International, all three of whom will compete in Bangkok, and Juan Alberto García in Mr. World, which will be held in Vietnam.

Besides the customary prayers for the best outcomes for Creoles in their respective international commitments, we must also wait and see what the OMV Executive Committee may decide.
