The National Electoral Agency has announced that 70% of the funding for the plan to organize local elections in April 2025 has been secured. According to the ANE, nearly 7 billion CFA francs have been raised out of a projected 9 billion CFA francs. The announcement was made at a press conference in Bangui on August 29.
