Telekom Serbia CEO Vladimir Lučić said foreign auditors confirmed that Telekom Serbia is worth well over 4 billion euros, stressing that Telekom Serbia’s total revenue is higher than all other telecom operators in the rest of the former Yugoslavia.
“Since 2015 and 2016, the value of Telekom Serbia has increased fourfold. Even if you look at the golden years when the telecom operator did not have apps, now Telekom is worth twice as much as it was then. So, Telekom is worth much more than $4 billion. For this, we have confirmation from the Big Four auditors. We don’t speak from our hearts,” Lucic said on Prva TV, according to Serbia Euronews.
He stressed that they had previously announced that Telecom would be worth this much and now they were getting confirmation of it all.
Lucic said Serbia Telekom had achieved extraordinary growth in the last period.
“The fact that we have almost doubled our revenues in the last five years, that is, we will more than double our revenues next year, is unprecedented in a European scale, considering that we have not grown as fast as, say, through acquisitions in some other countries, but mainly through organic growth, mainly in Serbia,” Lucic said, according to reports.
