(CNS): Police have launched an investigation into a fight between two men following a crash in the Savannah area of ​​Bodden Town about 10 a.m. Wednesday. Police say the crash occurred near Cool Spring Close and involved a HiAce utility van and a BMW sedan. After the crash, an argument between the drivers turned violent; one of the men pulled out a flare gun and fired a shot before running away and abandoning the vehicle.

The remaining driver suffered minor injuries as a result of the physical altercation.

The driver, who fled the scene, was followed by police, who believe he then ran into a nearby home. Police conducted a search and subsequently detained a man for investigation but later released him.

The man was not found during the search, but police seized his vehicle and other live ammunition as evidence.
