USS Schools Newsroom showcases book collection with digital resources

Therefore, we decided to launch an innovative project to supplement the curriculum for schoolchildren. Our challenge is to stimulate the imagination of children and young people and get them to learn through interesting books with rich content and attractive design,” noted.

The USS School Edit promises to delight not only children and teenagers, but also teachers, parents and guardians. Aimed at these readers, it has a collection called “Basics,” which includes five books that offer reflections and suggestions to strengthen their role as educators.

“The Voyager, the unexpected protagonist in an adventure that changed the world.” It tells the story of the first navigators who circumnavigated the globe and discovered America at the end of the 15th century. Here are the voices of 24 unexpected objects essential to these journeys, telling of their experiences on this adventure that changed the world.

“All for One, and One for All. A guide for the little citizen and the great citizen. It belongs to the series “Crecer Ciudadano” which invites us to study and reflect on the origins and importance of citizenship rights and duties. The book explores basic concepts and everyday examples in the classroom, family life, neighborhoods, cities to understand the organization of society and our contribution to community life.

“Fatima”. A beautiful story inspired by true events that helps in the search for spirituality. It tells the mythical story of three shepherd boys who saw Our Lady in Portugal. A book to accompany children on their way to their First Communion.
