ABU Secretary General pays courtesy visit to VTV and VOV headquarters in Hanoi
The Secretary General of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), Mr Ahmed Nadeem, recently paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of Vietnam Television (VTV) and Voice of Vietnam (VOV) in Hanoi. Mr Nadeem was warmly received by Mr Dinh Darong, Vice Chairman of VTV, and Mr Ngo Minh Hien, Vice Chairman of VOV, who met with him in a friendly and fruitful discussion.
During his visit, Mr. Nadeem had a comprehensive tour of Vietnam Television and the Voice of Vietnam headquarters. The meeting provided an excellent platform for Mr. Nadeem to exchange views with both organizations on major activities and initiatives, with a focus on the upcoming 61st Asian Broadcasting Union Conference and related meetings. The leaders discussed the strategic importance of the event and explored ways to strengthen cooperation and increase participation of Vietnamese broadcasters. Both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthen ties, promote cooperation, and share best practices in the broadcasting industry.
