Teleperformance, a French multinational company specialized in customer relationship management and service outsourcing, has announced the appointment of Moroccan businessman and politician Moulay Hafid Elalamy as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The move is aimed at accelerating growth and spurring innovation, according to one person. Press releaseThe appointment is also intended to separate the roles of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, strengthen the Group’s corporate and commercial development culture and implement succession planning at the senior management level.
Teleperformance Group has more than 510,000 employees and achieved a turnover of EUR 7.1 billion in 2021. It has been listed on the CAC 40 since June 2020.
Moulay Hafid Elalamy is the founder and owner of Saham Group. He served as Minister of Industry, Commerce and New Technology until 2021.
