Gloria Carney cursed me to have children, but God shamed her – Joyce Boakye

Kumawood actress Joyce Boakye has narrated how actress and evangelist Gloria Kani cursed her, claiming she would never have a child. “She told me I couldn’t have a child and I just kept silent. Now, I have a child and my child is my response to her.”

According to Joyce, Gloria Carney even said that if she had children, she would throw away her Bible, admitting that God had never called her and that she was only preaching out of desire. “I watched the video and laughed,” Joyce continued. “All I did was pray to God and say ‘I have no other gods but you, so let my enemies see that you are God.'”

When asked about the cause of the argument, Joyce said they had a misunderstanding on the set. “We are both actors and sometimes things get tense on the sets. If it wasn’t for social media, no one would have known we had a disagreement. It was a minor issue and I thought it was resolved. But then I saw her scolding me on the radio.”
