Caryn Lkong Koshiba, Executive Director and Interim CEO of the Palau International Coral Reef Center (PICRC), recently attended a Guam Fund Accounting Training Workshop hosted by Holland Consulting.
The three-day course, titled “MIP Basics and Refresher Workshop,” focuses on key financial activities, providing a good overview for new MIP users and cross-training for experienced users. Learning topics include transaction entry shortcuts, processing accounts payable and general ledger transactions, and reconciling bank accounts. The workshop was held from August 14 to 16.
“The training was very beneficial and productive as it helped me learn all the modules we use to provide quality reports on financial transactions to management,” said Koshiba.
