Pokémon Go kicks off a new season with the arrival of new creatures discovered in the Galar region, such as Grookey and Thwackey, which herald the introduction of Dynamax forms.
The mobile video game developed by Niantic has dedicated a space in the Pokédex to Galar’s Pokémon, whose members include Mr. Rime, Wooloo and Zarude, etc. Likewise, variants of Pokémon can also be found, such as Slowpoke, Meowth and Yamask.
The record will also expand with the arrival of new creatures, the tech company reports. From Tuesday, September 3, you’ll be able to find Grookey, Thwackey, Rillaboom, Scorbunny, Raboot, Cinderace, Sobble, Drizzile, Inteleon, Dreepy, Drakloak and Dragapult. The UK will exclusively experience the arrival of Stonjourner.
Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, Skwovet, and Wooloo will appear more frequently until September 10, and the latter two can be found in variegated versions. They will also hatch from eggs that require 5 km to hatch, while the Galarian versions of Meowth, Ponyta, Slowpoke, Farfetch’d, Zigzagoon, Darumaka, Yamask, and Stunfisk will hatch from 7 km eggs. Dreepy may appear in 10 km races.
The arrival of new Pokémon from Galar is accompanied by new research tasks, where you can also find Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, Skwovet and Wooloo. There is also the special investigation “Al Máximo”, in which you must choose a partner.
Niantic also reports that starting in September, “Energy Points” “containing Dynamax Pokémon that can be challenged in battle” will begin to appear.
