On Tuesday evening, two gendarmes were shot with a shotgun in Fondricher, Baie-Mahout. The alleged perpetrator thought he was shooting at goat thieves.

Police detained four people: the goat owner who opened fire on the gendarmes and three young men suspected of theft.
