The Normas Center, which is affiliated to the Ministry of Culture, organizes seminars, events and cultural and exploratory tours as part of the Norwegian travel program under the slogan “Science, etiquette and the company of Majid”. During the trip, they visited the Naval Ship Museum, viewed its exhibits and took part in a sea tour, during which they passed through the popular markets and shops. The maritime heritage was presented by Nasser Mubarak Al-Khelaifi.
Mr. Ghanem Abdul Rahman Al Kuwari, Director of the Nomas Center, said: “The Norwegian travel program includes a rich and varied range of activities, visits and leisure trips, which our center has carefully timed to make comprehensive, diverse and rich. It is purposeful and includes workshops in various heritage and education fields.”
He added: The first three days of the Normas Cultural Center’s trip to Norway were a fun and adventurous experience for the students participating in the event at the entertainment city.
Mr. Nasser Al-Maliki, a member of the trip supervision team, said: In the first three days, the trip to Norway included visits and inspections, including the Nobel Peace Center, where the students learned about the award, its winners, and the conditions for winning the award, noting that the students also visited the entertainment city, had the experience of participating in several competitions, and participated in a workshop entitled “Delivery skills, facing the audience, public speaking”.
The purpose of this trip is to truly understand the reasons for success, the importance of self-reliance and teamwork, and to understand other cultures and their creativity and influence, and to help build thoughtful, conscious and insightful personalities, in addition to discovering and highlighting the talents of young people, building bridges of cultural exchanges, and instilling the principles of national identity. Students of different ages are encouraged to participate in cultural tours of cities and cultural landmarks around the world.
By organizing this trip, the Ministry of Culture hopes to encourage students of different ages to take part in cultural tours of cities and cultural landmarks around the world, and students will also learn about Norwegian archaeological sites.
