In Slovakia, dozens of schools are operating in double shifts. So, when other children are already on break, students there start classes. The reason for this is the lack of capacity in some cities. Experts have long warned that children lose focus in the afternoon.
One of them is the village of Lomnička in the Prešov region, with a population of 3,000. Its director, Miroslav Zelina, talked about the complexity of teaching at HN. The teachers said they had had enough and that if nothing changed, they would soon be left without teachers.
