Bangui City Hall increases service prices

Bangui City Hall is increasing the fees for its services, with application effective from 1st^yes next October. For example, the cost of wedding celebrations from Monday to Friday has increased from 20 to 50,000 CFA francs. For weddings held on Saturdays, the amount has been set from 40,000 to 100,000 francs, and for weddings held abroad, from 100,000 to 200,000 francs. The price of legalizing civil status documents has increased from 500 to 1,000 francs. The town hall sees this increase as financial compensation for the introduction of free birth certificates.
