Four St. Thomas citizens are facing multiple charges following an incident at Hagley Gap in Cedar Valley.
They have been identified as Keiron Garrison, aka “Pops”, 21, a builder from Content; Raheim Fyffe, aka “Bigs”, 19, a mechanic from Grove; Gilmour McPherson, aka “Josh”, 22, from Hagley Gap; and Federick Lewis, 18, from Content. They have been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, using a firearm to commit an offence, common law assault and two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.
The Morant Bay Police report states that on August 19 at 9:20 p.m., the two men were involved in an argument with a man in Cedar Valley when Fifi brandished a handgun and threatened the man. The other three defendants struck the plaintiff multiple times, rendering him incapacitated. Bystanders gathered at the scene and the two men fled. Police were called and subsequently intercepted, arrested and detained the two men.
They were formally charged with the crimes on Saturday following a question-and-answer session with their lawyers. Their court appearance date is being set.
