80% of subscribers benefited from the settlement

Rama Al-Zahir, Director of the General Housing Corporation, revealed that according to the decision of the Council of Ministers on March 26 this year, the percentage of beneficiaries who determined the conditions of subscribers and experts in housing for young people and workers who defaulted on the due installments of the General Housing Corporation for eight consecutive months or more accounted for 80% of all closed cards.
The company announced that the number of defaulting subscribers in all provinces included in the decision of the Council of Ministers reached 13,380, whose cards were closed by the General Housing Corporation due to delays in paying the allocated instalments provided to them in the interest of the company.
According to the decision of the Council of Ministers, the defaulters were given a settlement period of four months from the date of the decision, which ended on July 28 last year.
