Jury member and director Jasna Nanut noted at the awards ceremony that this year’s competition was “extremely fierce.”

“It wasn’t an easy decision for us to make, but the film stands out for its universal and sharp social critique,” ​​Nanut said.

The Best Director award went to Emanuel Parvo for his film Three Kilometres to the End of the World, while the Best Screenplay award went to Iveta Grofova and posthumously to Peter Krištufek for The Hungarian Seamstress.

The Best Performance Award went to the young acting group from the film “78 Days” – Viktoria Vasilyevich, Tamara Gajovich, Milica Gisic and Masa Čerovich.

After the ceremony, the films Second Act, directed by Quentin DiPio, and Material, directed by Coralie Faza, starring Demi Moore, were screened.

During the six-day festival, with the support of the City of Smederevo and the Serbian Ministry of Culture, more than 40 films from Europe and the world were screened, and the premiere of the first two episodes of the series “Ringišpil” was held.
