he King Carlos III of U.K. Sent a message to the president Louis Lacalle Pou and “To all Uruguayans” independence Day This Sunday, August 25th.
In his message, King Carlos III said: “Dear President, my wife and I are pleased to extend our warmest congratulations to you and the people of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay on the occasion of Independence Day.”
Furthermore, he noted: “I cherish the bonds that unite our countries, and I hope that our countries can continue to work closely together on important global issues, whether it is peace and prosperity or the environment and climate change, for the benefit of our peoples and future generations”.
The letter concluded: “We take this opportunity to extend our best wishes to you and all the Uruguayan people.”
