Digicel Fiji Young Kulas have learned a lesson as they prepare for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia later this month.
Earlier today, the Angeline Chua-coached team faced a tough test as they lost 0-2 in a friendly against Costa Rica.
The friendly was part of the team’s preparations for the World Cup, and the Kulas youth team played well against the higher-ranked Costa Rica team in a match played behind closed doors.
Despite the failure, the experience gained was still invaluable as they made their way to the global stage.
