St. Catherine South District Police have launched an investigation into the shooting death of a man in Portmore on Thursday.

He has been identified as 34-year-old Jerome Lynch, also known as “Jockey”, from Waterford, Portmore, St Catherines.

Lynch was reportedly shot and killed by unknown assailants while walking near the Waterford Avenue car wash around 11:30 a.m.
