Motorists travelling through the main road in Longhill, St James, are being advised to expect minor delays on Sunday.
The National Works Agency (NWA) said its crews will trim overhanging trees along the corridor.
Janel Ricketts, community relations officer for the western region at North West Railway, said trees overhanging the corridor would degrade the integrity of the asphalt concrete surface.
Ricketts said targeted sections of the road will be periodically reduced to a single lane during construction.
Drivers are advised to obey posted warning signs and flaggers’ instructions.
