19 teams competed in 3 groups: land, sea and air
The competition attracted 19 secondary school teams to participate, and some representatives came from Vietnam to Hong Kong to compete. It is divided into three parts: “sea, land, and air”, including “underwater robot sumo competition”, “robot rugby competition” and “drone dance competition”. Each team will compete in multiple games according to the theme, testing logical thinking, programming, innovation, teamwork and communication. The Canadian International School of Hong Kong sponsored the event. Principal Wong Tim-wai believes that the competition coincides with the school’s emphasis on technology, innovation and 21st century skills.
