Today, Israel launched a new round of bombing on the Gaza Strip cities of Deir el Balah and Khan Yunis, killing or injuring a number of Palestinians.
The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) quoted local sources as saying that occupation aircraft launched an attack on a group of Palestinians in the Abu Arif area east of Deir el-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, killing at least one person and injuring one Palestinian and others.
She noted that occupation drones had fired at tents of displaced persons east of Deir el Balah, injuring a number of Palestinians, including women.
In parallel with the aerial bombardment, Israeli artillery also targeted the Hakkar Jami area of Deir el Balah, injuring several Palestinians.
In the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were killed in a bombardment by an occupation drone “Tiktuk” in the Katiba area in the east of the city.
The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 40,265 and the number of injured has risen to 93,144 since the Israeli aggression began on October 7, 2023, while many victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, with ambulances and civil defense workers unable to reach them due to Israeli restrictions.
