Somalia has warned that it will not allow Ethiopian Airlines to fly in its airspace as it “violates its sovereignty”.

Somalia’s government has warned that Ethiopian Airlines may suspend flights to Somalia until issues related to flight access are resolved, calling the threat a “violation of sovereignty.”

Somalia’s Civil Aviation Authority previously said in a statement that it had been communicating with Ethiopian Airlines since August 14, according to the European calendar.
