Mikie Wine, brother of prominent politician Bobi Wine, says he is facing challenges in organising his upcoming concerts as sponsors have pulled out.

According to Mikie, many sponsors stopped supporting his activities for political reasons, citing his relationship with his brother as the main obstacle.

Mikie had originally planned to hold the concert at the iconic Cricket Oval, a stadium known for its large capacity and lively atmosphere.

However, his request was rejected by the venue owners who claimed that the venue was undergoing renovations. Mikie disputed this reasoning and suggested that the real motive behind the rejection was politically motivated due to his close relationship with Bobi Wine.

The musician further explained that he had been approached by several companies to sponsor the event. While these companies initially expressed interest and welcomed his proposal, the situation changed two days ago.

Mikie revealed that these potential sponsors suddenly stopped answering his calls, and some even questioned whether the concert involved political overtones, fearing that it would cause repercussions.

Despite these setbacks, Mikie Wine remains determined to continue holding his concerts despite the challenges that the political situation continues to present.
