(CNS): Police said a 911 call was made around 2:00 p.m. Wednesday regarding a man bleeding and unconscious on School Road in Georgetown. At the scene, emergency medical services assessed the injured man, who had wounds to his head and face, and transported him by ambulance to a hospital, where he was treated for serious injuries. He remains in the hospital.
Police at the scene spoke to locals but were unable to find out what had happened, or even where the incident took place. However, it is believed he had been attacked.
Detectives investigating his injuries are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information that may assist with their investigation.
