Presidents of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan sign alliance agreement

Central Asia (KZ) – Kazakh President Tokayev and Tajik President Rahmon signed the Treaty of Alliance between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan.

The talks took place in Dushanbe as part of Tokayev’s state visit.

Akoda said the following documents were signed during the state visit:

1. Memorandum of Understanding between the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Republic of Tajikistan;

2. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Industrial Sector between the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan;

3. Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the Field of Oil and Gas between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan;

4. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of innovation and digital development, training and retraining of agricultural personnel;

5. Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Agency for Innovations and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan;

6. Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government Committee of Television and Radio of the Republic of Tajikistan;

7. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government Committee on Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the development of information and communication technologies in the construction sector;

8. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government Committee on Food Security of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the veterinary field;

9. The Programme of Cooperation in the Field of Sports between the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2025-2027;

10. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government Service for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Trade Inspection of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of standardization, metrology and conformity assessment;

11. Memorandum of understanding between the Almaty Regional Government and the Khatlon Regional Executive Body on trade, economic, scientific, technical, humanitarian and cultural cooperation;

12. Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Law Enforcement Service of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Execution of Judicial and Other Institutional Acts;

13. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between NC Temir Zholy JSC and National Unitary Enterprise Rokhi Ohani Tojikiston of Kazakhstan;

14. Memorandum of Understanding between NAC Kazatomprom JSC and the State Unitary Enterprise of Rare Metals of Tajikistan;

15. Memorandum of cooperation between the RPO “Zastara Congress” and the NGO “Youth Union of Tajikistan”.
