Each region is represented, with Kicukiro region having nine candidates, Nyarugenge having 13 candidates and Gasabo having 21 candidates.
Of the 43 candidates, six were supposed to represent districts in the Kigali City Council.
After the election, Gasabo District is represented by Baguma Rose and Gatera Frank. Kicukiro District is represented by Nyinawinkindi Liliose Larisse
Together with the Aimé team.
Nyarugenge district is represented by Semakula Mohammed and Urugeni Martin, former Kigali mayor and deputy in charge of social welfare.
These MPs, in addition to six other MPs appointed by the President of the Republic, previously elected the Council and Executive Committee of the City of Kigali today.
