Mexico City (apro) – The superyacht Bayesian, owned by British tycoon Mike Lynch, sank off the coast of Porticello, Italy, in the early hours of Monday, August 19, leaving several people on board missing and dead.

Twelve of Lynch’s guests and 10 crew members travelled aboard the Bayesian to celebrate the Briton’s acquittal following a fraud trial in the U.S. Some of the Briton’s guests had been part of his legal team or had testified on his behalf at recent trials.
