“During the wedding, my client was surprised that one of the men asked him to take a photo four times, and he did not object,” the lawyer said in a report he wrote on the young man and published on the Cairo 24 website.

He added, “Last time he grabbed his clothes in a strange way and put the phone to his face, until the artist Amr Diab thought the young man was trying to attack him, so he tried to push him away.”

“The artist reacted in self-defence because he believed the youth was trying to attack or assault him by grabbing him by his jacket,” the lawyer explained.

He added, “The young man usually attends weddings, takes pictures with stars and celebrities and then posts them on his social media pages.”

The lawyer revealed that a report had been filed against the young man for “inciting riots, defaming my client on social media and trying to become famous through a talk show with the artist Amr Diab”.

In recent hours, a video went viral in which the star Amr Diab seemed to command one of his fans to “slap” him, sparking controversy on social media.
