Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, the Ministry of Culture will organize tomorrow a ceremony to recognize graduates of the cultural scholarship program, with a number of officials of the cultural system, graduate students, the ceremony will present the achievements of scholarship students who benefited from the cultural scholarship program, together with their parents and relatives, and showcase their cultural and artistic innovations in their fields of study, the most important of which are also presented through art. The exhibition that accompanies the ceremony, in addition to highlighting cultural academic achievements and their impact on the development and training of cultural talents and the cultivation of abilities capable of contributing to the cultural movement.

The Cultural Scholarship Program is one of the initiatives organized by the Ministry of Culture within the framework of the National Cultural Strategy and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Launched in 2019, the program is the first in the Kingdom’s history and it provides quality educational opportunities at academic levels: Bachelor, Master and PhD, by studying culture and arts majors at the most prestigious international universities.

The Cultural Scholarship Program offers a range of qualitative benefits to the scholarship students, the most prominent of which are full academic scholarships covering study expenses, a monthly stipend for the scholarship student, living expenses for the scholarship student and his/her companion, health insurance, and round-trip airfare from the Kingdom to the scholarship headquarters, as well as a mentoring program for the scholarship students, which aims to train a generation of qualified experts in various cultural fields to contribute effectively to the project in order to promote the development of the cultural sector in the Kingdom.
