AKIPRESS website – Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov approved the draft agreement between the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Bishkek Project Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) on the implementation of the project “Reducing the risk of proliferation of illegal small arms, light weapons, ammunition and explosives on the borders of the Kyrgyz Republic.”

Within the framework of the project, the parties will carry out activities aimed at reducing the risk of illegal movement of small arms, ammunition and explosives across the state border of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The goal of the project is to reduce the risk of illegal movement of small arms, ammunition and explosives across the national border of the Kyrgyz Republic by strengthening the capacity of the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.
