The Suriname Police Force (KPS) faces severe restrictions on its daily fuel distribution.
For several days, the force was allowed only 1,500 liters of fuel a day, an amount that had to be distributed among more than 100 departments across the country.
This restriction poses a significant challenge to KPS as the operations and responsiveness of various departments may be affected.
The government has a huge backlog of orders with Roy Boedhoe Enterprises, which keeps shutting off fuel taps due to non-payment.
