According to journalists, a resident of the East Kazakhstan region grew cannabis on his territory while receiving treatment at an anti-tuberculosis pharmacy. Tengri News Network refer to YK News.

According to her, the man was sent to the Akzhar village medical institution for compulsory treatment due to tuberculosis.

“As he walked towards the TB clinic, he saw marijuana on the roadside. The man picked the stems with seeds and put them in his pocket and scattered the seeds on the walking area of ​​the TB clinic in the spring. When the marijuana sprouted, patients at the TB center began to water and weed the beds,” the material said.

As a result, it was explained, three cannabis bushes grew there, which he picked and dried. But the patient did not have time to smoke cannabis: his “activity”, as they said in court, was stopped by the police.

“As a result of all the proceedings, the man was found guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code (illegal manufacture, processing, acquisition, storage, transportation for the purpose of non-sale of narcotic drugs; sowing or planting prohibited varieties of cannabis) and sentenced to one year of restriction of liberty” – the material states.
